Why did we build this?

After countless (TRULY COUNTLESS) hours of manually seeding and resetting Salesforce sandboxes for our sales demos and integration testing, we decided it was time for a change. SandFaux started as an internal tool to streamline this tedious process. After a few people asked us for access, we decided to make it publicly available for anyone to use!

What’s Next for SandFaux?

This was really just the starting point for our internal tool, here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming:

• Text Prompting for Scenarios: Create sandbox scenarios with ease. For example, generate a sandbox resembling the Salesforce environment for a growth stage company selling software to medical device manufacturers or an SMB selling a developer tool to engineers with a simple text prompt.

• Custom Fields: Currently supporting accounts, contacts, and opportunities, we’re expanding to include custom objects and fields.

• Custom Configurations: Generate data tailored to your specific Salesforce environment or configure new scenarios using prompting without any manual work.

• Dynamic Data: Update sandbox data as if it were a real, live Salesforce environment. Full control over the frequency and volume of updates.

• More Integrations: Upcoming integrations with Netsuite, Hubspot, MS Dynamics, and CSV export options.
